Numerous clay vessels of different shapes and purposes are preserved from the medieval Armenian cities. In the collection of clay vessels there are many animal-shape and bird-shape items. Anthropomorphous vessels form a  special group of the collection of clay vessels.
H. Sharambeyan Museum of Folk Arts demonstrates different utilitarian clay vessels, such as churns, pots, lampions, amphoras, saltcellars, created by the contemporary folk masters Hrant Baghdagulyan, Samson Chagharyan, Sahak Sahakyan, Bagrat Khojoyan.
